Welcome to the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunrise...

As a Rotarian for over 5 years now, I have seen just how much our Club has contributed to the West Maui community through various means...When I first joined this Club, one of the ongoing Service Projects was to literally develop a safe, clean and grass filled area in the corner of a parking lot across from an elementary school. Through many weeks of enduring what many of us called "hard labor", we are the proud producers of this welcoming site that is open to the public to either rest on the bench that is placed under a shade tree, or for our keiki to wait safely to cross the street to and from school. Five years and many more projects later, we will be introducing the Four Way Test into our elementary schools via the Andy & Elmer program, what better age to reinforce ethics than while our kids are absorbing everything and anything...

As we continue to support our schools and families in the West Maui community through our various fundraising efforts such as our successful annual Christmas Tree sales, I look forward to another strong and productive year along with it's challenges, because I know that with all of our combined efforts, we can easily be Building Communities by Bridging Continents..
